The Governor's Cup Ski Race is part of the Minnesota Skinnyski Race Series.

The 25 K loop utilizes Camp Ripley's Viking Trail and World Class Biathon trail system. Following an open area for the mass start, the trail is wide and well maintained with piston bully and tiller. Passing through wooded areas or following along side the Mississippi River, the terrain is rolling with some great hills. This year's race will include a separate mass start for classic skiers at 10:30 a.m. with a single track set for this race.
